Get Involved
AIGA San Francisco is run by a dedicated board of directors and by equally devoted committee members. These volunteers offer their time and energy to help run AIGA events and programs. Each board member directs their attention to one of AIGA's several initiatives on design. Diversity
The overarching goal of the Diversity Committee is to increase representation of diversity and foster inclusiveness in regards to gender, race, sexual orientation and identity, age, class, culture/society, and creative diversity within the profession. Learn more »
The Urban Forest {Mentoring} ProjectThe Urban Forest Project will be planting banners by students and designers from San Francisco in the heart of the City this Fall. 25 of these banners will be created through the efforts of the AIGA San Francisco and Worldstudio—and AIGA SF members.
Education & Student Outreach

Rick Tharp ScholarshipThe Rick Tharp Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Rick Tharp, a world-class graphic designer whose work influenced the entire design industry.
Inneract ProjectThe Inneract Project was developed to introduce, teach, and inform inner city youth about careers in design through classes, field trips and awareness programs.
Studio 5The Studio 5 Project has been updated and changed into the Inneract Project.
Student MixersAIGA hosts a mixer bringing together design students from Bay Area design schools.
