Adobe Workshop: Digital Publishing

Learn to create a digital publication for the iPad without writing code!

If you’re interested in designing highly interactive content for publication to the Apple iPad without writing code or depending on a developer, this session is not to be missed! In this presentation, you’ll learn how to affordably design, preview, share and publish engaging interactive content — brochures, highly‐visual books, annual reports, or your personal portfolio — to the Apple iPad using InDesign CS5.5 and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition. You’ll learn how to use your existing InDesign skills to manage the end‐to‐end workflow that will result in a branded application that can be distributed or sold via the iTunes store.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to use the Folio Producer tools in InDesign CS5.5 to add engaging, interactive elements such as 360 degree object rotation, image panoramas, video and more.
  • How to preview the digital content on your desktop or tablet device
  • How InDesign CS5.5 integrates with Digital Publishing Suite
  • How to use the Folio Producer Service to manage your folios;
  • How to use the Viewer Builder to create a custom Content Viewer and create single folio applications that can be sold through the Apple App Store

This workshop is best suited to print and cross media designers and assumes working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
