Design Leadership & Change

Presented by AIGA and Carnegie Mellon University

About the program
As traditional roles between disciplines and collaborators are becoming blurred, designers are finding themselves in positions of increasing influence. To effectively lead clients, boards of directors, community groups or transdisciplinary teams, new skills and perspectives are required along with an understanding of one’s personal leadership potential.

“Design Leadership & Change” is an executive-education course designed for mid-career professional designers who want to learn how to lead with their strengths for more successful outcomes. This user-directed, open studio style course is intended to address the individual leadership concerns of each participant, and to give participants the tools they need to increase their capacity as leaders in day-to-day situations.

At the end of this transformative week, you will walk away with more confidence about your leadership ability, tools to immediately elevate your influence and a clear understanding of how to push your career to the next level.
