Volunteer Coordinator

A long-time resident of the Bay Area, Courtney Utt has been involved in the San Francisco arts community for the past decade. She was the chief book designer for the legendary manga/anime publisher VIZ Media, and she also contributed to the design portfolio of Brooklyn’s Akashic Books and Oakland’s PM Press, as well as the late, great experimental music imprint, Asphodel. More recently, she has been designing for a number of upcoming SF restaurants, bars, and lifestyle product lines. In addition to her volunteer work with AIGA, she has been deeply involved with the local Dearborn Community Garden and the promotion of niche photography, starting with the local Lomo chapter and continuing through Fotolog and Flickr over the past 10 years.
